Cemeteries Concord Massachusetts

Concord’s historic cemeteries are the final resting place for some of America’s great authors. Alcott, Emerson, Hawthorne, and Thoreau. These cemeteries are the final resting place for Revolutionary and Civil War hero’s. There are many outstanding citizens buried here as well. Including Ephraim Bull who developed the Concord Grape. George Gray Civil War Hero and Alexander Urquhart who started a bakery on Main Street in 1898 that stands to this day as Helen’s Restaurant. Walking these beautiful grounds will take you back in time. A time of conflict, economic growth, a thriving literary scene, and innovation.
