Henry David Thoreau’s Cabin on Walden Pond – An exact replica built on the Walden Pond property, but not in the exact location where the cabin was built. However, a short walk and you can see the actual location. He built it in view of the pond. It is the most perfect spot for total immersion into nature. This man had the ultimate state of mind. Actual Site of Thoreau’s Cabin On Walden Pond – This is the location where Henry David Thoreau built his experimental cabin to get close to nature. The location was verified in 1945 – Watch the Video
Walden Pond – This is what Henry David Thoreau saw every morning. Serene beauty. The pond to this day is under conservation. No building or modifications other than the beach house upon entrance. Little has changed since the 1800s. There is a 1.7 mile path going around the pond. Makes for a fantastic day trip – Watch the Video
